While DWF’s main asset is people, it also requires funding to keep the day to day operations and projects running. For example, one of the biggest costs that DWF incurs is transportation and gathering the supplies necessary to run all of our projects.Â
Other costs include medical costs, financing entrepreneurial goals, helping children attend school, providing transportation to court for rape/domestic violence cases, and other day-to-day expenses such as electricity and rent for office space. We rely on our generous supporters to provide the funding necessary to keep our projects and foundation growing and improving. Whether you are a company or individual looking to fundraise or make a donation, check out how the Dare Women’s Foundation can put your money to use.Â
In addition to monetary donations, we accept in-kind donations as well. Any school supplies, books, yarn, fabric, ink cartridges, usable technology or electronics, arts and crafts supplies, medicine or health related items, household items, laptops or other practical items can be donated to Dare Women’s Foundation. If you have these types of items, please reach out to use and let us know how much you have, where you are located, and relatively how much they weigh. We will then reply letting you know the best way to get the items to Tanzania.Â
